Today, the Douglas Land Conservancy has a conservation endowment of $500,000 with responsibility for conservation easements on more than 17,000 acres of permanently preserved open space. 

The average size of a parcel held by the Conservancy is 340 acres.  Every parcel in the Conservancy portfolio contributes to the quality of life in our community by serving social, cultural, ecological and environmental needs as well as landowner interests.
